Ask any inhabitant of South Mumbai and the western suburbs of Navi Mumbai, and the answer would be that it is a group of tall, characterless buildings, a neighborhood for cheap housing; and it's usually a place too far away.
But in 2016, the reality is not so simple. The place buzzes with youth, and its character is very cosmopolitan.
